*	unidentified (Ginnie TR): Good morning. It is extremely heartwarming to
see you grappling with these issues in your daily lives, trying to see a
solution
that is in harmony with your true natures.
Part of your evolution involves growing, maturing from your basic needs of
physical survival into the survival of your souls, the survival of your
personalities. That is lesson number one for Urantians, to pull out, to
discriminate, to understand your natures as children of the Father. That, in
essence, is your main function on this planet, and you have come upon the very
intense arena of discussion and activity on your planet at this time where
you as
a species are trying to extricate yourselves from the vestiges of animalism,
pure
animalism, to act more in compliance, in appreciation of your status as children
of our Father.
When you view this world and its conflicts each side, each faction, is
simply trying to survive. Those who are inflicting conflict, inflicting misery
and those who are inflicted with misery are one and the same. They each are
trying to survive. The question is, what is important for survival? What
element are they or you trying to preserve? What part of their natures,
known to
them and familiar to them, are they trying to save? What is important to those
who are inflicting misery is the same as what is important who are being
inflicted.  Everyone struggles to preserve what they see as important;
whether it
be land, money, lives, it makes no difference except to those who see and
understand their true position as children of the Father and who understand
their
true function in the grand scheme of things and have come to know the Father, as
you have in your limited way. You and others like you have this insight
that the
spirit of the Father indwells each and every one and that, in itself, is the
reason for the love and respect we give to others.
This recognition of the origin and destiny of your planet and of your
personalities gives you a jump, so to speak, because you understand. You have a
great appreciation of the big picture. There are those who do not have this
grand view. Be careful, be loving of your judgment. You who are so blessed
with
information, with the grand overview, have a great arena for work in helping
others to acquire a bit more of the view. Your willingness to serve is
impressive and your willingness to help can be done with the very lives that you
lead every day.
Wars will continue, physical wars will continue, violence will continue
until some other reason for not being violent appears. This is where you come
in, awakening souls to the awareness of their dignity as children of the Father
who each has within them the divine spark.
I take my leave. There are others waiting. Thank you.
*	Elyon (Jonathan): I greet you. This is Elyon. I am deeply moved by your
concerns for your fellows on this planet and that you are not apathetic toward
events occurring in remote places on your globe in relation to your location.
You know that there is no growth without conflict, and so the hopeful
picture is that this conflict will bring growth. You also know that conflict
persists only in the refusal to espouse higher values. When you are feeling as
an individual inadequate in your contribution toward alleviating the misery of
the peoples confronted by war, focus your intention towards the promotion of
high
values. Amplify these, for it is this lack that has brought on the intensity of
conflict that exists at this time.
Your lawns are healthiest when tended to, fertilized, watered, and aerated.
Through neglect the weeds enter, the ground becomes hard packed, and the lawn
grass itself begins to wither. When you see the troubles around the world, the
lawn of your ideals appears to be more of a meadow of weeds, far too ominous a
task for one gardener to rectify. However, you can simply load your fertilizer
distributor with truth, beauty, and goodness and sprinkle wherever you happen to
be standing. If enough of you do this, you can revitalize the entire field.
The
grass that is greener in your ideals for the future of this planet is
resident on
this world today. It simply needs tending. Michael's teachings are here, they
are rooted in traditional religion and in the waves of thought that rise and
fall
periodically throughout time. The grass seed is planted; it simply needs
tending.
It appears at times when growth has been successful and you are feeling
accomplished in spiritual attainment, that you encounter being mowed down, where
you feel defeated. This is that conflict that brings growth. This is the good
element of conflict. No freshly mowed lawn goes to waste. The grass clippings
themselves become mulch and nourishment for new growth. It is always a
double-sided factor, conflict, for it is something one wishes to avoid for
comfort, wishes to put to rest so that you can attain those higher levels. Yet
you must willingly accept, accommodate in your life if you are to make progress,
for it is easy to rest on your laurels, to become complacent and satisfied.
That is the end of my input to share with you today on this matter.
Ginnie: I just got the image that the darkness in a room does not
disappear until the lights are turned on.
*	unidentified (Ginnie): The lights that you have within you, if they are
turned on, turned up, will eventually dissipate the darkness. This is a call to
arms, not of a violent nature but of a loving nature. The call is for all of us
who have this light, all of us who recognize this light within us. It is a call
for us to turn up the watts, the amps. It is a challenge for us to illuminate
the darkness. So, you can see by this example that conflict can bring about
light.
Mark: The more we learn spiritually the greater contrast we see around us.
The more we view beautiful yards and gardens, the more we notice the weeds
in our
own patch. I anticipate you would say to simply bite off no more than we can
chew, to start with an area of our yard and work from there rather than view the
task as overwhelming. Comments?
*	Elyon: You most certainly have come to know me, my nature, in anticipating
my response. You are correct. Focusing your energies in specific, controlled
arenas will bring immediate rewards and bring enthusiasm for larger tasks.
But I
would hope that every one of you would continue to derive inspiration from those
yards of others that appear so perfect in contrast to your own. Let that
enthusiasm energize you for even that small planter box that you may be tending
to.
Beauty, though prevalent universally, is an experience of the individual.
It is important while appreciating the expressions of another, their spiritual
attainment, their character development, their wisdom, their serviceability to
their fellows, that you do not eclipse your own worth. The order of an English
garden is strikingly different from the order of a Japanese garden, yet the two
manifest beauty nonetheless. Therefore, not only is it beneficial to apply
yourself to the extent that your energies are capable of accomplishing your
goal,
but it is also worthwhile to orient yourself on a specific goal and do your
tilling and transplanting with that goal in mind, being inspired by, but not
necessarily driven to becoming like, another.
I hope this adds to your insight.
Mark: I would see goals as spiritual ideals. As we mature our ideal yard
might change in appearance, but we should nonetheless strive for our ideal of
what it should be.
*	Elyon: Quite true and in the natural order of life on your world when
certain devastating events occur life cycles appear and disappear, contributing
to the re-establishment of a mature forest. Each step indicates a step towards
its maturity as well as indicating its history, an event of prior destruction
which necessitated the process to renew itself once again to re-establish that
mature state. The goal, the ideal, is the end to be sought, and each step is a
manifestation of that ideal at its proper synchronous point in time. So, while
the task may be burdensome at the immediate moment, it is a manifestation of the
result desired. Appreciating the intermediary step sweetens the satisfaction of
the goal of the future.
Mark: I see that scenario play out in humanity. It's similar to the
maturing forest in that at times you see the dying out of the undergrowth as
tragic. But it's simply a step towards a mature forest, as I have no doubt this
planet will mature to a spiritually advanced state at some point.
*	Elyon: When the world attains Light and Life it will be to civilization
what a mature forest is to vegetation. Yet you know from your studies that even
a world settled in Light and Life is not free from its accidents, its
calamities,
and even a personality can elect not to survive. This world will face perils,
but the intensity will diminish. A brushfire is not possible when the
undergrowth does not exist. When the evolutionary and transient stages of
accomplishing Light and Life have come and gone, there will be less opportunity
for war to break out, for plagues to run rampant.
At the intermediate stages some of the cycles that are undertaken in the
growth of civilization appear backstepping when they are actually quite
important
towards the further progress, just like the idea of mowing the lawn. That lush,
vibrant growth has been trimmed back so violently, yet it only brings more
vigorous growth in the process.
Mark: Thanks for your words today.
*	Elyon: And I thank you for yours.
*	Nebadonia: Dear children, I greet you. I ask that we spend some time now
in communion with our Divine Parent acknowledging the inner presence, the true
and eternal Peacemaker, the very seed that brings about perfection of a mortal
soul and in its wake the settling of universes in Light and Life. We give
everything to our Father. He has given us our being and the wherewithal to
experience. And you, each of you, have been given Himself as an indwelling
Presence. You benefit as creatures of the possession of the creator even as
I, a
creator, benefit from this same divinity. I emerge from the divine of Paradise
to recreate and express. You are emerging from the edges of the universe
and are
likewise recreating this divinity. Though you are clothed in an animal
encasement, your potential far outreaches your origin. It is in the wisdom of
the Father that creation is as you find it today. Express your gratitude,
express your loyalty, express your welcome. In all ways and at every time He is
here for you.
	I am Nebadonia.
*	Michael (Ginnie): And I join in my appreciation of your efforts to keep
your lights on. As we all as one join in our expressions of love and
service and
worship, know that we are with you always, and we work in tandem. We
express our
appreciation to you who so willingly take this mandate of the Father to heart.
Always remember that we are always with you. Peace.
