COSTA RICA TM’ers. Susan and the late David Butterfield of Costa Rica have been active Teaching Mission participants for many years. Along with Oliver Duex in the Lake Arenal area, they have produced numerous transmissions online which promote inner spiritual values and Christ consciousness.

DUANE AND LUCILLE FAW were mainstays in the early Teaching Mission years and hosted a group which transmitted many lessons from Rayson. Duane was a retired Air Force general and the couple were instrumental in bringing together fellow transmitters and students across California.

THE HUNT FAMILY. Shown in the early days of the Teaching Mission is the Hunt Family in California. Bob is a professsor of mathematics, now at the University of Hawaii. His late wife, Bonnie, transmitted many lessons from Astara, a Bright and Morning Star, and other celestial teachers.
VERONICA, a celestial artisan and exemplary wordsmith, transmitted a large portfolio of lessons through Arlene Buckoveitz from Volcano, HI.
“GERDEAN” and Angus Bowen. Karen O’Dell was a multi-talented transmitter who authored books, produced paintings and actively participated in the Teaching Mission in Pennsylvania, Idaho, and New Mexico. She and Angus edited the L&L Online Express and The Portal, periodicals which explored the world of modern spirituality.
MARK and MARY Rogers have been active in transmitting groups for years while running a leatherwork business in Coeur d’ Allene, ID. Our library/ archive includes a huge number of lessons from these groups in Idaho and Spokane, WA, including Machiventa Melchizedek, Elyon and Christ Michael.
“REBECCA,” longtime transmitter from Salt Lake City and Nashville, at center, is joined by the late Bill Bryan and Eugenia Bryan, from Lawrence, KS. Rebecca’s lessons from Ham included announcements to Urantia Book international conferences via the new transmitting-receiving process, announcing the mission of spiritual redemption on our planet.
NEW ZEALAND BEGINNINGS. This is the first transmitting group of the mission, conversing with Machiventa Melchizedek and Abraham in the early 1990’s.

FATHER BOB SCHUER was a retired Catholic priest when he became involved in Urantia Book studies and the early Teaching Mission in Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio. He was a stalwart supporter who gave a Urantia Book to the Pope and steadfastly supported the reality of celestial teacher contact.
BAKERSFIELD Experiences in the Teaching Mission included the transmissions of Jack Baker, physically disabled but spirit connected. The group welcomed new teachers onto the planet and explored the concept of “reflectivity” in the transmitting process. At left is another transmitter, Al Wolf. JOHN AND JANE ROPER, both graduated to spirit, were active hosts and supporters of the Teaching Mission for years in California.
